Terms of Use.

1. The service

Bill of Sale Check helps users review visible information in a bill of sale or related transaction document. The service may identify missing fields, inconsistent paperwork signals, VIN and recall context when available, state paperwork reminders, and practical next steps such as fix, verify, negotiate, or pause.

The service is designed as a paperwork-review aid before payment. It does not complete a vehicle purchase, transfer ownership, clear title, file tax or registration paperwork, inspect a vehicle, or confirm that a seller has legal authority to sell a vehicle.

2. Not legal advice

Bill of Sale Check does not provide legal advice, legal representation, attorney review, or an attorney-client relationship. Information shown by the service is general paperwork guidance and may not apply to every fact pattern, county office, DMV practice, title-office requirement, lender rule, or court interpretation.

For legal questions, disputed ownership, suspected fraud, unusual title history, high-value transactions, or state-specific legal requirements, consult a qualified attorney or the appropriate government office before paying or signing.

3. No guarantee

Bill of Sale Check does not guarantee that every issue will be found. A review can be limited by blurry uploads, handwriting, missing pages, incomplete seller information, data-source downtime, document alterations, undisclosed liens, title brands, fraud, or facts that are not visible in the uploaded document.

The service is not title insurance, title or lien verification, a full vehicle-history report, an escrow service, a mechanic inspection, a warranty, or a guarantee that a vehicle transaction is valid, safe, complete, or free of risk.

4. User responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether to proceed with a transaction. Before payment, you should independently verify the VIN, title, lien status, odometer disclosure, seller identity, payment receipt, state transfer forms, tax and registration requirements, recall status, inspection needs, and vehicle condition through appropriate sources.

You should not rely on Bill of Sale Check as the only source for a purchase decision. If a seller refuses to provide basic documents or proof, consider pausing the transaction until you can verify the issue independently.

5. Payments and results

Paid reviews are one-time document reviews unless the checkout page states otherwise. Fees cover the review workflow and do not guarantee a particular outcome, vehicle condition, clean title, successful registration, or successful purchase. If a review cannot be processed because of a technical issue on our side, we may attempt to rerun the review, provide support, or issue a refund at our discretion.

6. Uploads and account use

You agree that you have permission to upload the documents you submit. Avoid uploading Social Security numbers, full bank-account numbers, or unrelated sensitive documents. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for reviewing any saved drafts or results before relying on them.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, pricing, data providers, report format, or supported states. State requirements and official forms can change, and local offices may apply additional requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bill of Sale Check and Daedalus Ventures LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for losses caused by a vehicle transaction, seller conduct, title problem, undisclosed lien, registration issue, payment dispute, fraud, or reliance on incomplete or inaccurate uploaded information.
