Privacy Policy.
This policy explains how Bill of Sale Check handles uploads, account information, payment metadata, analytics, and review data used to provide private-party used-car paperwork review.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the information you provide directly, including uploaded bill-of-sale documents, extracted or confirmed vehicle and transaction fields, email address, sign-in information, account profile data, support messages, and saved draft or review history.
We may also collect technical information such as device, browser, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location derived from network information, error logs, and usage events.
2. Uploaded documents and review data
Uploaded documents may contain names, addresses, VINs, mileage, sale price, signatures, title details, lien references, and other transaction information. We use uploads and extracted fields to provide the review, generate results, support the user experience, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
Do not upload Social Security numbers, full bank-account numbers, unrelated IDs, or documents that are not needed for the bill-of-sale review.
3. Payments
Card entry is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may receive payment metadata such as transaction ID, payment status, amount, email, and checkout session details so we can deliver results, reconcile payments, provide support, and prevent fraud.
4. Service providers
We may share information with vendors that help operate the service, including hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, payment, document-processing, AI-processing, logging, notification, and security providers. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms where applicable.
5. Analytics and site measurement
We use privacy-conscious analytics and site measurement tools to understand traffic, page performance, conversion events, and product issues. Analytics data helps us improve the site and diagnose problems.
6. Retention and deletion
We aim to delete uploaded review documents after 30 days unless a longer period is needed for support, security, legal, abuse-prevention, payment, or operational reasons. Account records, payment metadata, logs, and saved drafts or results may be retained as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.
7. Legal and safety disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, payment-network process, law-enforcement request, or to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Bill of Sale Check, users, vendors, or the public.
8. Your choices
You can contact us to request help with account access, deletion, or privacy questions. Some data may need to be retained where required for legal, security, payment, or business-record reasons.
9. Children
Bill of Sale Check is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
